Transforming Public Spaces asks Bangkok citizens to identify buildings, streets and other public spaces they would like to see improved or transformed. Through a competition, people are invited to name such places, with a photo, and submit it via the website www.changebangkok.com. You can also vote for others. We will then select the Top 10 who will each receive 7,000 Baht and one of them will be the subject of a collaborative intervention by a Thai and a UK creative.

1. All photos must be digitally taken or digitally scanned without excessive photo retouch.
2. All photos must be in jpeg file with maximum size of 150 KB.
3. Anyone can send unlimited number of photos.
4. All photos must be taken by the sender and accompanied with clear addresses and reasons to select.
5. All photos submitted will become the property of Bangkok Design Festival.
6. As part of Bangkok Design Festival 08 there will be a photo exhibition featuring a selection of the photos so far submitted to the website. (NB: these photos may not necessarily be the winners as there will be another five weeks to go until the deadline).
7. Deadline for submitting photos and vote is 1 December 2008
